NEW RELEASE at Some Odd Girl!

Some seriously SWEET TREATS for you this time around, folks!
THESE little darlings were released TODAY at SomeOddGirl.com:

There's still time to play along with our Stash Challenge #5, so maybe you'd like to try one of these images on for size?

And don't forget our July Freebie, who's only available for a few more days, and then she's GONE! Grab Tiny Tia HERE before you miss her!
We'll be back THURSDAY with a whole new challenge for you, and lots of TASTY samples from our Odd Girls!

the Odd Girls bring you Stash Challenge #5!

Good Thursday to you all, Odd Friends!
Leah here, happy to bring you the latest... Things have been hoppin' around this place, and if you haven't already gone to check out the brand new release from Some Odd Girl, what are you waiting for?! There are some wonderfully sweet treats available, and we Odd Girls are excited to share our creations with them today!

First of all, another HUGE thank you to all of our fabby players from our Shaped Card challenge - it was AWESOME to see some true outside-of-the-box thinking, and we loved your creations for Style Challenge #4! Also very exciting to see how many of you are using the Some Odd Girl images (including the ADORABLE July freebie, Tiny Tia!), and earning yourselves an extra shot at the prize...

With 19 qualified entries, 13 of them used Some Odd Girl images, which means the magic number was 32 (WOOT!). Of course, there can only be one WINNER, and a big congrats to the crafter who will get the fabby Hula Kaylee, plus one image of her choice from SomeOddGirl.com - that winner is.....

GEORGIA!
Here's her sweet card, using last month's freebie, Hang 10 Kody:

LOVE how she was able to turn the entire image into her shaped card, with the sentiment placed perfectly on the flat side. Fab job, Georgia! Please send a quick email to Kristy@SomeOddGirl.com and let her know which one image you'd like from the store and she'll send you the download info for your selection and for Hula Kaylee!

And Kristy and I have a couple of favorites to share - these cards have earned their makers Some Odd loyalty points (yet another incentive to play along - you don't have to SHOP to earn them!), which can eventually be redeemed for free digis!

First, this RIDICULOUSLY fun, spunky card from Danielle,
using our July freebie, Tiny Tia (that's how it's done, folks!):

And this WONDERFULLY creative ribbon delight from Corry,
using A Mae Day (can't tell you how much we dig that scrunched ribbon!):

Congrats, faves! LOVE your fun creations, and it's always a pleasure to see what new, inventive things people are doing with our images! Ladies, please drop Kristy a line at Kristy@SomeOddGirl.com and she'll apply your points to your accounts!

So with that business taken care of, it's time for a brand spankin' new challenge! We Odd Girls had lots of fun playing with the NEW IMAGES, and we're sure you'll rock this challenge no matter WHAT images you use!

For Stash Challenge #5, I want to see.....
SPOTS, STRIPES, and a BIG TITLE!
(A great excuse to bust out those Thickers, folks!)

Here are our Odd creations, for your viewing pleasure:

Kimmy had a BRILLIANT idea using the new, super cute Lite!

Kristy used the very funky Kody Rocks, with a very 'a propos title!

Leah used Mae Yay and some mixed alphas for a funky
card for her funky cousin (who's going back to college!)

Marcie's got it goin' on with Celly Mae

and some YUMMY blingy letters!

Jen brought the beat with Dancin Mae! (love the title!)

Robin's Hip Kody card is just TOO cool for words!

Shelly's Dancin Kaylee card has striped spots, and her card SPINS!

SO! Lotsa spots. Many types of stripes. And big, big letters! Let's see what you can do with this one, Odd Friends! Play along by Wednesday, July 28th at midnight EST for a chance to win TWO Some Odd Girl images of your choice! Remember, for our challenges, you don't have to use Some Odd Girl images, but if you do, you'll get extra entries in the challenge! Upload your newly created, indubitably awesome projects below, be sure to link back here, and GOOD LUCK! We can't wait to see your creations!

Style Challenge #4 - Shapes all over the place!

Those with kids who watch Team Umizoomi will totally get that reference (and curse me for getting that song stuck back in your head) LOL! Anyways... WOW! We had our biggest turn out yet! I am stunned! 35 entries..... AND 15 of those beauties had Some Odd Girl digis aboard. So we are looking at 50 entries into the lot this go around. Wowzers. By random draw the winner of our Shimmer challenge is...

Jenn Ruggeri!!! She had this fabulous blingy entry...

Our two favs are quite fun!

Dora made her Mae look completely golden in this 14k card

and Kerry won me over with Glimmer Mist (I'm addicted!) and a blingy heart! She loves the bling too :)

It was amazingly hard to pic just two favs, believe me! Jenn, email me at Kristy@someoddgirl.com to get your prizes and Kerry and Dora email me with your account name so I can get you your SOG Points and your blinkie!

Well if you couldn't guess from our title for this Style Challenge, we are looking for shape cards. Anything that is not squarish or rectangular is what we would like to see. Not super tough me thinkith so look what our Odd Girls whipped up for a lil inspiration...

Kimmy made some sweet lemonade with her lemon wedge card and Lemoney

Leah channeled a lil Bob Ross makin a lil tree to grow right here. A Cherriez tree that is!

Shelly took the shape idea to a whole different level turning Shy Mae into her own shape card!

Robin rawkd it with a Cherriez on top!

Jennifer will make someone green with envy with her Gala of a card

Marcie has a sweet treat for a lucky teacher bringing the Gala apple to school in a different way

Kristy is much in love with someone who is her perfect (Anjou) pair and (straw)berry special to her

All of the digis used by the DT for this challenge is from this weeks release...

Maybe you can take Dainty Kaylee, Earthy Mae and Watamelon who we didn't get to and show us how to do it! There are some real possibilities with those 3. I can't wait to see what you've got for us this go. I hope we can hit 50 individual entries. How sweet would that be? Winner of this challenge will get a freebie of their choice from our shop and the exclusive image Hula Kaylee. You won't be able to buy her in the shop so you'd better play along! This challenge will run thru July 14th at midnight EST. Remember, if you use a Some Odd Girl Digi then you get 2 entries in the pool and since we've got a new freebie up (that I think you'll likey!) there's no reason not to!

Last but not least, this holiday weekend not only do we here at Some Odd Girl want everyone to have a fun and safe weekend  BUT we also want to give you another way to celebrate with a sale! Celebrate your freedom to be Odd! This is our first site wide open to everyone sale! Check out Some Odd Girl from Friday thru Sunday for 30% off the entire shop. What better time to get yourself some new digis than when they are on sale? I'm an enabler at heart :)

Stay Odd!
