Style Challenge #5 - so punny...

Good day all you Odd ones out there - our Uber-Oddy, Kristy is hobnobbing with the rich and famous at CHA, so I (Kimmy!) stepped in to bring you this week's PUNNY CHALLENGE.

But, before we get to the nitty gritty, you wanna know our favorites from
Stash Challenge #5, right?
It was fun to see that most of you seemed to favor the summery and bright colors in connection with the
Stripes & Spots and the BIG title challenge. More and more of you also enter using our wonderful Digis, which is SO encouraging and brings huge smiles to our ODD faces.

Let's see, we had 19 FANTABULATIOUS (that's Leah's word) entrants and 16 used Some Odd Girl images, bumping our number up to 35 - yay!!

The lucky winner who will receive two images of their choice from the Shop, is number 34, which belongs to MELANIE! Just LOOK at the sweet card she submitted:

Congratulations, Mel!!!
Don't you all agree that "Fairy Fly Away Mae" looks fantastic in green? And that simple sentiment framed by the half-scalloped circle - perfect!
So Mel, please send an email to Kristy@SomeOddGirl.com and let her know which one image you'd like from SomeOddGirl.com and she'll send you the download info for your selection and for Hula Kaylee!

But that is not all...oh no, Leah and I would like to share our favorites from this round!

I loved how Elizabeth geniusly incorporated this Digi dude's BOARD into the
overall design of her card. Isn't is wicked? "Surfer Kody" never looked cooler :)

Kerry rocked our socks with this gorgeous creation - what YUMMY Sass,
and we all agree that "
Dainty Kaylee" looks BEAUTIFUL in pale aqua!

Congratulations, you two Oddities! :)
We loved how you tackled this challenge and inspired us with your creations. Please email Kristy@SomeOddGirl.com and she will happily apply your points to your accounts and send you your blinkies!

Enough talk - let's see what we've got cookin' for you all this week! I particularly loved this challenge as Kristy asked us all to come up with our own "punny" sentiments! It is no secret that I adore punny sentiments and, in all honesty, the brand new release is pretty much screaming to be used in a fun way, no?

CHECK 'EM OUT!

So in hopes of inspiring you and your funny bone, let's see what the ODD Girls
have created for your viewing pleasure.
..

Kimmy combined "Moooey" with "Cloud Buddies"
and created an inside and out card:

Leah used "Toasted & Toastie" and created this mouthwatering card
(am I the only one getting hungry for toast now?):

Marcie is right up there with the deliciously scrumptious cards
and her fabulous use of "Cherry On Top":

And look what Shelly baked up for us using "Baker Kaylee"...
things that make you go mmmmmmmmmmmmhhhh!

Robin also brought "Moooey" out from the pasture and gave us this cute card
(we KNOW you're going to want to borrow that awesome sentiment!):

Jennifer used "Mr. Pepper and Mrs. Salt" for this sweet
(salty? savory? spicy?) concoction:

Annnnnnd, our awesome artist and store owner, Kristy, gave us
the following FINE examples...
this one using "Cherry On Top":

and this one, using "Mr. Pepper and Mrs. Salt" (we love this little pair!):

You, too, can play along by Wednesday, August 11th at midnight EST for a chance to win TWO Some Odd Girl images of your choice! Remember, for our challenges, you don't have to use Some Odd Girl images, but if you do, you'll get extra entries in the challenge! Upload your ** newly created ** projects to your blog (or an online gallery), link to US in your blog post, and submit your project by linking your post/gallery upload to our inlinkz below. GOOD LUCK! We can't wait to chuckle over all the punny sentiments to come :)
