NEWS at Some Odd Girl, and let's see some FABRIC!

Hello there, Odd friends! Leah here, TOTALLY excited about today's post for a few different reasons. First, there's THESE GUYS:

They are ALL available NOW at - aren't they absolutely FANTASTIC?! Let me tell you, we Odd Girls are having LOADS of fun playing with them! Get 'em by clicking HERE... OH! And we can't forget about the brand new FREEBIE for October! (grab him while you can!)

Second, there's still time for you to get in on our MONKEE contest! We have lots of fun suggestions for names already, but if you haven't submitted yours, we want to hear from you! CLICK HERE to read the contest deets, and to see what flippin' AMAZING prizes are up for grabs!

Third, I have a brand new challenge for you today, and it's just different enough that I know the rest of the team had fun playing with it, and I hope you will too....

But FOURTH, I have a winner and some favorites to announce! You kids knocked the Monochromatic challenge right the heck outta the ballpark! Gorgeous creations, and thank you all for joining us! Of 34 entries in total (WOO HOO!), 13 projects featured Some Odd Girl images, which brought our total "in the hat" to 47, and we couldn't be more pleased with such a great number! Thanks for the support and for enjoying the Some Odd Girl images! :D

We'd like to toss a big ol' CONGRATS out to number 16, which, according to our system, belongs to VERA YATES! Here's the lovely monochromatic card Vera shared with us:

GO, VERA! Thanks for playing along, and congratulations! Please send Kristy an email at and she'll let you know how to get your two free digis from the store! Can't wait to see what you'll do with your choices!

And, because we have some LOYALTY POINTS to toss around, we've also got a couple of favorite projects to share... Congrats goes to...

CORRY for this gorgeous and unique card featuring both Mermaid Kaylee and MerMae:

and to Caz, who TOTALLY rocked the black and white combo
(love that hair) using Head In The Clouds Kaylee:

Well done, you Oddies! Please send a quick note to and she'll apply your Loyalty Points to your accounts!

OKAY! Onwards! My challenge for you this time around is.....

I want to see fabric on your creations! The usual ribbon/twine/lace/yarn/felt shapes do NOT apply, but you can choose to make your own embellishments out of fabric if you like. Tear up an old towel or apron or shirt or even a SOCK, and show me whatcha got! :D

Wanna see how we Odd Girls have done it up all good-like? Take a look...

Kimmy put together this cute fabric flower for a perfect little accent for Witchy Tia:

I, Leah the Orange, sewed a couple of little stripey flowers together

What kinds of fabric scraps do you have lying around the house? Think you can turn 'em into something fun and funky (or totally shabby or elegant)? We know you can, so show us your NEWLY CREATED projects using FABRIC for your chance to win TWO free digis from, or possibly some Loyalty Points for your next shopping spree! Don't forget to link back to us, and HAVE FUN!
