Cards that Care

There's always alot of fun and charitable things to do this holiday season but if you are looking for something that takes your love of cardmaking and will make a whole lot of people who might feel really lonely this holiday feel loved then I have just the thing for you!

Our very own Odd Girl Vera is teaming up with Jennifer McGuire to collect cards for the holidays and christmas and distribute them to the elderly that reside in nursing homes across America. Grandfathers and Grandmothers that are feeling lonely or may be missing their families this holiday season.

I have a 92 year old grandfather who lives in a nursing home (way too far away I might add!) so this is something that hits home for me. Some Odd Girl is supporting the drive by providing a prize of a $20 Gift Certificate to some lucky person who sends in cards to the drive.
