Bright and Blinding Challenge

Congrats to our winner and favs from the White/Kraft with Pops of Color Challenge! You can see them in yesterday's post.

Before we get to today's challenge I want to make sure everyone knows, BE BACK HERE MONDAY AT 9AM FOR SNEAKS WEEK FOR OUR JULY 11TH CLEAR STAMP RELEASE! Excited? Me too! Properly spectacled? The Challenge is BRIGHT and BLINDING COLORS. We want to see creations that make you want to keep on your shades just to peer at the over the top retina searing colors you use! Pastels are not allowed!  What a perfect challenge for the bright fun of summer! With all the beachy and summery things to make out there you should have no problem making us throw up our hands to shade our eyes :)

White/Kraft and Color Pops Challenge WINNERS!

ACK! I totally got lost on what day it was! CRIZZAP! My apologies for the lateness of this post! For those of you behind me on time, not so late then ;)

Ok! We had plenty of fun entries into this challenge and so many of you took it in hand and RAN with it! Love that! Even though that makes it tougher for me to pick favs, its one I'm willing to take on :) Our Mr. Random.org has graciously picked us a winner for the challenge and it is...

Next our two favs went in opposite directions on the white vs kraft choice but they both came up with super cute cards! Our first fav, in no particular order, made the choice of kraft and put together a card our own Miss Leah probably swooned over since she is agog over all things Orange! Melissa did such an amazing job with her coloring as well!

Our second fav picked white and made the cutest boys card complete with planes and clouds, I know my Dude with LOVE to get it for his birthday. Not to mention Maria knows you can't go wrong with Orange and Teal as your color combo ;)

White/Kraft and Color Pops Challenge!

Today's challenge is a Color Challenge: All White or Kraft with 2 pops of color. Meaning your card should be mostly white or kraft with two other supportive colors only. That doesn't count for skin, hair and such. There are tons of ways to pull this off. Let's see what our Odd Girls did with it...

Manly Winners!

Happy Wednesday Oddies!!! This summer schedule sure is having its way with me! I feel like the day is just starting and its 11am here! I did spend my first 2 hours cleaning house but still :)

Well for last week's challenge we had a whopping 93 valid entries! You guys sure made the Odd Girls work overtime!!! :) So many were so cute! Its a wonder that so many of us shy away from Manly creations, you all rock at it! So random.org got to choose our winner and he (I'm naming it a "he" at least for this challenge lol) picked

We've been talking about this special announcement all week and I've been getting a lot of emails asking when this was going to happen... Well today is the day!

We are very excited to announce our new

design team call for Some Odd Girl!

We are a Clear and Digital Stamp manufacturer, and are proud of our hand drawn designs. We really pride ourselves in our quality products and we are looking for a team of 6-8 designers for our August 2011 - January 2012 term. We are looking for crafters who are committed and creative, and who know how to show off their skills and our designs to the fullest! Only those who are enthusiastic, fun and peppy need apply :) You can see more of our designs at our website, www.someoddgirl.com


International submissions are accepted.


We are looking for designers...
with an active blog,
who can commit to one project per week,
who can commit to uploading all of their DT projects to at least 2 online galleries,
who are committed and turns in projects on time,
have the knowledge to work with digital images,
are able to take clear and beautiful pictures of submitted projects,
are happy and willing to promote releases, hops, challenges and other Some Odd Girl events on your blog,
will participate in our Blog Challenges with projects, blog promotion and commenting on entries,
who can be active and have open communication,
are willing to participate in other challenges using Some Odd Girl images,
will post the DT blog roll in your sidebar,
are not afraid to submit for publication at least twice per term

In return our "Odd Girls" will receive...

Summer Sneaks Week Day 4
