I have 7 uber talented and super fun ladies to introduce you to and 2 to welcome back! I am humbled and amazed that these ladies are joining me on this next term's crazy journey! Here they are in no particular order!
HI! i'm Leah l'Orange, and i am SO excited and honoured to be doing this whole Some Odd Girl thing with my "Holmes"-slice, Kristy! our Odd Girls are amazing, and we hope you'll have lots of fun with the images and the challenges. i'm a Canadian import, living in South Jersey (no, they don't say "JOY-ZEE" here, but they do say "WOOD-ER" for water!), because i married a crazy yank. i don't miss the Canadian winters, but the SOUP here in the summertime is a little tough to bear.i'm not an artist, but i'm artsy. i'm not a musician, but i perform music. i'm not 36-ish, but i am. i'd prefer to get CRAFTY over just about everything else! i only know one language fluently, but i speak my own language. i am a foodie, an indie film snob, a cruise director, and a little random at times. Only fitting that i'm an Odd Girl, right?
Robin McKinley
blog: Stamper Extraordinaire
My name is Robin McKinley, and I live in Brampton, Ontario, Canada, and work downtown Toronto. A little bit about me: well, I am obsessed with paper crafting - especially stamping! I love all things ink and paper, and I especially love colouring! I also really enjoy participating in online challenges! By day, I am a Reservations Supervisor at a prestigious Toronto hotel, and by night, I am a stamping machine. I also LOVE to read, and I love animals too. I routinely go to the gym to keep active, and I try to travel as much as possible.
Jacquie Chapman
blog: Family and Crafting
"Hi All! My name is Jacquie Chapman, formerly known as Jacquie Nordaune! I live in snowy Minnesota, a place where you experience every season {which is NOT always a GOOD thing!}. I am a stay at home mom and have 4 children. My oldest is 13 and my youngest is 6. I started papercrafting in November 2007 when I was invited to a Stampin' Up! Party thrown by a neighbor. I then started spending a lot of time on Splitcoaststampers website and met so many amazing crafters and have learned so many things over the years! I have a degree in Graphic Design and I enjoy spending time with my kiddos. I feel like I fit right in with these ODD girls and I am so excited to be a part of the Some Odd Girl family!!"
Zarah
blog: and in english
Hi there! I'm Zarah (also known as zarischka, which I knooow is awfully hard to pronounce, around the interwebs), a 31-year old Swede. Mother of two spoiled babies that are both furry (with a tail) and who keep my days filled with cuddles, purrs and love, and my clothes filled with hair. Hmmm... I prefer the first to the latter! I'm happily married to my soul mate Mikael, who in turn spoils ME rotten and adds to the cuddles and love, even if he purrs slightly less and almost doesn't shed at all! Lucky me! ;)
When I'm not sitting pretty in the school bench, I scrap, make cards, write, read, draw, chat with friends and spend the rest of the time watching movies with my darling husband.
I've fiddled with papers, pens and crafting since as far back as I can remember and I found Some Odd Girl a while back and immediately fell in deep and passionate love.

...and not ONLY because of the name! ;)
I love to stamp, but I'm a bit lazy and I like the versatility of flipping and resizing the digis so much that my regular stamps are more or less just sitting around, gathering dust now. Almost makes me feel bad for them! However, I have a feeling my love for digis will only grow deeper, now I have been trusted with a spot on this fantaaastic DT (Wohooo!!), and I hope you will stick with me while I strive to improve, inspire and (hopefully) impress you during this term.
Well I am a 28 year old card addicted, coffee/mother addict that has been known to waffle, well so people say! Mother to clear that one up is a energy drink I {heart} I have 3 girls, yeah so imagine all the screaming that goes on, lol along with the laughter. Kira is 11, Heidi is 4 and Chloe is 3. I have been with my amazing hubby for 11 years going on 12 and married for 3 of those, not just my husband, but my best friend, seen me at my worst in the mornings and he still thinks I'm gorgeous! I have been cardmaking since 2008 and have been obsessed ever since! I am not happy unless I am crafting, buying craft supplies OR talking crafting with like minded crafting obsessed people! I am MORE than excited to be apart off the Some Odd Girl design team and can't thank Kristy enough for having me! Can't wait to share with you all and show you how ODD I really am, hehe!

I have been scrapbooking, cardmaking, and crafting for over 14 years now, and I have also been teaching classes and designing for the past 5 years. My style is pretty traditional with lots of added layers and whimsical elements. I absolutely love color and you'll see a lot of mixing patterns and colors in my work. I am thrilled to be a part of the SOG Design Team, and I couldn't be happier working with all of the super adorable SOG digis!
Caroline Sears
blog: A Load of Old Blogocks
Hi, I am Caroline although in the crafting world most people call me Caz. I am 40, and live in the UK with my husband of 22 years David and our 8 year old daughter Georgia. I started cardmaking back in 2004, I became hooked while buying gifts for my lovely Mother in Law who also makes cards. After about a year of card making I added Scrapbooking and other Home Decor items to my hobby list. I am a proper night owl and most of my best creations are made late at night and into the small hours of the morning. Once I am engrossed in what I am doing it is normal for me to roll into bed at 2am.....and then have to be up again at 7am. Since January 2008 I have become hooked on stamping and colouring with my Copics, and have managed to introduce quite a few on my friends back to it. My daughter is also a huge fan of colouring, and we regularly sit together and make cards, I even got my 9 year old niece hooked too. My cards tend to be quite dimensional and regularly feature flowers, pins, bling, glitter, lace and ribbon. I have been told I have a good eye for colour....even though I cannot draw for toffee...thank goodness for talented artists like Kristy who provide me with wonderful images to colour.
Sarah Rice
blog: She Scraps
My name is Sarah Rice, a 32 year old crazy crafty chick, and Im proud to be ODD. I live in NE Ohio with my husband Matt and Im currently a stay at home mom to my darling and daring 1 year old daughter Aubrey. I also work for a non profit that raises money for children with cancer. I teach crafts/scrapbooking at their summer camp every year. I enjoy throwing/planning parties, cooking, board games, football, movies and exploring any kind of festival or fair. Im hopelessly addicted to coca cola, post secret, taking pictures of my daughter and facebook. I am a complete night owl.
I ODDly scrap mostly 8.5x11 layouts and I love to rock funky cards, mini albums, atcs and the occasional hair accessory for Miss Aubs. I love to try new techniques and play with art supplies but ODDly enough Ive never even held a copic marker. Ive never met a craft I didnt like and hope to some day be able to crochet cute little hats and make dresses for my daughter. Paper crafting has always been my favorite of all. Im so excited to be designing with the completely cute stamps from Some Odd Girl.
and you all know me :)...
Kristy Dalman
blog: I am Odd
Hi all!!! I'm Kristy and I am the owner/designer here at Some Odd Girl. This journey has been a long and weird one with a lot of false starts but not lacking in encouragement and help! The concept of my doing my own digis evolved from a single awesome gift from a wonderful friend of one of my pencil drawings transformed into an actual red rubber stamp! I was ECSTATIC when I got it! But soon after that, a chat with my 2 girlies started the ball rolling into what you see now.
This website could not even begin to be here without my wonderful hubby of over 7 years who is very good at turning my ideas into reality. Even when I can't articulate them very well :) He encourages all my creative endeavors with enthusiasm and that's absolutely priceless! Even if he doesn't understand them lol!
Besides being a scrapper I enjoying drawing, reading, sewing and painting. If you're lookin to get to know me a lil better you can check out my blog. Where I'm sure I ramble.
Welcome to our New Odd Girls! This is looking to be one exciting term!
Join us back here in the coming days and weeks for new features that we will be having here on the blog. We will be having monthly guest designers, more inspiration and projects from our Odd Girls; Some Odd Spottings where we feature projects with Some Odd Girl digis we find around the blogosphere or are submitted to our new projects@someoddgirl.com email (submitting does not guarantee being featured), features with fun questions posed to each of our Odd Girls and more. Challenges will keep being brought to you twice a month with all the fun you expect from us but there's a tweak there too. Our first challenge of the month will be open to project with a SOG digi only while our second will be open to all! Keep that in mind :)
Fun things are on their way so stay tuned!
